Years
of research and development, which continues today, have
resulted in several highly specialized, patented training
tools and supervised training protocols. There are two
things that will increase speed: stride length and stride
frequency. The longer the stride and the more frequently
it occurs, the more ground you'll cover in a shorter period
of time. The ability to develop the optimal stride length,
increased strength and appropriate muscle balances are
the keys to athletes improving safely.

Several other patented training
devices are used to progressively load defined muscle
groups - even specific muscles - to maximize speed and
fine-tune conditioning, agility, endurance, safety and
overall athletic performance. The results are measurable
and speak for themselves. Athletes who have completed
at least one BlueStreak Program have experienced average
improvements in speed, vertical jump, throwing velocity
and more. In addition,
the training Programs have also become a valuable rehabilitation
resource for athletes recovering from injury or those
wishing to regain former levels of performance.
John Frappier has specialized
knowledge in the study of human performance under exertion
of muscles, skeleton and nerves. He continues to research
the precise motions; intensity levels, duration and intervals
of workouts, so systems and Programs can be continually
updated.

Hockey
is a challenging sport that demands high endurance and
the ability to recover quickly between explosive efforts
and between practices and games. The right performance
nutrition can help you meet these demands.
PacificHealth Labs performance nutrition
products are proven to increase endurance, reduce muscle
damage, and accelerate muscle recovery in athletes.
Studies have shown that Accelerade sports drink, Accel
Gel sports gel, and Endurox R4 performance recovery
drink work better than conventional products thanks
to their exclusive, patented 4:1 ratio of carbs and
protein.
Accelerade increased exercise endurance
by 29% compared to Gatorade in a study at James Madison
University. Accel Gel reduced muscle damage by 49% during
three hours of skiing in a study at St. Cloud State
University. And Endurox R4 reduced muscle soreness in
collegiate runners by 43% compared to a carb-only recovery
drink in a study presented at the 2006 annual meeting
of the American College of Sports Medicine.
In addition, studies involving hockey
players have shown that Accelerade dramatically reduces
the decline in skating performance and reaction time
that comes with muscle fatigue.
If you’re serious about
performing your best on the ice, you need to fuel your
muscles with the very best performance nutrition products.
Using Accelerade sports drink or Accel Gel sports gels
during practices and games will increase your endurance
and reduce muscle damage, so you feel less sore afterwards.
By using Endurox R4 after practices and games, you will
recover faster so you can perform better tomorrow.

Dartfish
gives the athlete an enhanced communication tool between
trainer and athlete to facilitate the improvement process.
At the start of the program, on-ice and hockey treadmill
training
will be filmed and analyzed showing limb position and
joint angle that need to be worked on to improve form,
speed, quickness and energy expenditure.
As well as giving direct size comparisons of the athlete's
skating characteristics, Dartfish can show significant
improvements in form, balance, and quickness. Dartfish
can be specifically used to enhance skating bio-mechanics
by analyzing angles of seat position, pelvic tilt, extension
and upper body momentum expenditures. During the 2004
Olympics in Athens, Greece 75% of all athletes that achieved
medal status had trained using Dartfish Technology. |

SportQuest
is a computerized analysis evaluation that gives detailed
results of over 20,000 players around the world to compare
your skills against. The evaluation is an unparalleled
system that actually isolates your key skating skills.
SportQuest timing gear measures to the nearest 1/100th
of a second and is triggered by a player's body rather
than a stick. |
